God,
to save us, came to us, mingled among us, lived with us in the most familiar
and intimate contact, from the Annunciation to the Ascension. For the salvation of souls, he continues to
come to us, mingle among us, live with us in the most intimate contact, every
day and every hour, in the Holy Eucharist.
So we too must go and live among our brothers and sisters in a most
familiar and intimate way.

Foucauld
