Born to see (Fr. Ron Rolheiser)


   A baby inside the womb cannot see its own mother or even imagine its mother’s existence, not because the mother doesn’t exist, but because the mother so totally encompasses it.  A baby must first be born to see its mother and form a picture of her.


   That image can be helpful in our struggle both to believe in God and to believe in life after death.
