A river flowed out of
the place of delights to water the terrestrial paradise, which from there
divided or separated into four streams… Now man, without a doubt, is the
paradise of Paradise itself, since the earthly paradise was only made to be the
dwelling place of man, as man was made to be the dwelling place of God.
